Winterthur’s Fantasy Golf is a fun, indoor minigolf course. Everything is dark and yet it has all these neon colors on the walls.

- Payment – First, you need to pay your entrance fee and collect your materials. The given price is for one round of 18 holes.
- Materials – A minigolf club and a ball per person (in different colors) will be provided to you. Each group will be given a score sheet and a pencil.
- 3D Glasses – You will also be provided with 3D glasses before you start playing, so you can see the surroundings in three dimensions. With the glasses, the colors and pictures on the walls look more vivid. However, you don’t have to wear them. Simply leave them unworn if you don’t wish to.
- Lockers – Right at the entrance, you will also find a few lockers. To obtain the key, you just need to insert a coin. There are tables beside the lockers in case you want to sit.
- Age Group – Kids as young as 4 or 5 can play Fantasy Golf courses. School-age children should have no problem.
Our Experience at Fantasy Golf, Winterthur
You’ll have to start with the first minigolf hole and work your way up to the 18th. Ideally, you should do this to avoid chaos. They’re right next to each other so you can just hop from one to the next. You might have to wait along the way in case another group is playing the course ahead of you.
The pictures on the walls are mostly animals and they remind me of wall graffiti. Courses vary in difficulty, some are easy and some are hard.
All the paintings are neon colors, and the whole place is dark. They don’t turn on the lights nor do they dim them either. Fantasy Golf might not be the best for you if you’re sensitive to the surroundings or lights.
You’ll mostly be left alone to work on the course. Once you’re finished playing, just bring all the materials, including the 3D glasses, back to the entrance area.
