Touring Dreamfactory & World of Wonders
You’ll be guided to the entrance once you’ve paid your entrance fee. Head inside after you lock your things in the locker. From the lowest floor, work your way up to the floor that leads to the outside.
Touring Dreamfactory is mostly self-guided by following the arrows in the various rooms. Since there are a lot of rooms and different objects in each, it’s advisable to do it in order. If you start going down a different path, it might be confusing.
What to Expect: Dreamfactory & World of Wonders
There’s a lot to see at Dreamfactory & World of Wonders. The tour should take about two hours, give or take, and even longer if you get there during the magic show.
It’s got lots of cool things and games you can play. Here’s what we saw inside:
- Celebrity wax figures (Marilyn Monroe, Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean, Elvis Presley)
- Luminous Winter Village
- World in Miniature
- A lot of collectibles and collections (beer cans, puppets, music boxes)
- Animal rock band animatronic show
- A film about illusions
- Costumes and movie memorabilia
- An interactive mini village with a train, farm, buildings, and more
Practical Information: Dreamfactory & World of Wonders
- Payment – There is an entrance fee to get inside Dreamfactory & World of Wonders. I highly recommend coming on Saturday and Sunday when there is a magic show as well.
- Lockers – Before going inside Dreamfactory & World of Wonders, you will see lockers to put your belongings inside.
- Age Group – Dreamfactory & World of Wonders is kid-friendly. Adults will also have fun here.
- Food and Drinks – Food and Drinks will be available at the end of your tour in case necessary.
- Location and Parking – Getting to Dreamfactory is easy by train or bus. It’s just a matter of getting to Degersheim Train Station. You can see it right from the train station and it’s just a short walk away.
Final Thoughts: Dreamfactory & World of Wonders
The Dreamfactory & World of Wonders is pretty close to something like a mix of Madame Tussaud’s and Planet Hollywood, but it’s not quite the same. There are a lot of people who go there to have fun.
Besides celebrity wax figures, Dreamfactory & World of Wonders has a lot of collectibles, a magic show, and more. Since young kids probably don’t know famous Hollywood movies or actors yet, I think the older generations might find it more interesting.
Outside it looks really run down and odd, but once you get inside it’s really nice. Everyone will be entertained.
