If you have a child who loves climbing and running around, the Adventure Park in Interlaken is the place for you. This park offers nine different courses and 160 different challenges for active children.

Rope Courses at Adventure Park Interlaken
Visitors can reach heights of 23 meters at this Adventure Park. The courses are designed to complement the existing trees. Rope challenges, Tarzan swings, and zip lines can be found here.
Using the rope system is simple to learn. Everyone will be given a brief introduction at the beginning. Immediately following the verbal introduction, a short training course is conducted to ensure visitors fully understand how to operate the rope safety system. If you or your children don’t understand, just ask. A member of the team speaking English was present when we were there.
Having made your way onto the rope course, you’re basically on your own. The personnel can sometimes assist, but it’s more the exception than the rule.
Using the rope course is not only simple, but it is also safe. As soon as you enter the rope course, you are always secured. You will never be able to unhook until the end of the course.
You can do the courses multiple times and in any order.
Adventure Park for Older Children
It is best suited for school-aged children, teenagers, and adults. I would recommend it to older children because the prices are not cheap and the courses may be difficult.
Here, children of school age, who are confident and able to master certain techniques on their own, will thrive. Children will also need to use their critical thinking skills to figure out how to successfully cross a course on their own. Because many people are using the facilities at once, and each person needs to tackle each challenge independently, it only makes sense to begin at a certain age and level of physical fitness.
Each rope course will have a sign at the beginning to describe in detail how challenging it will be and how many zip lines will be involved.
It is important to note that the items marked as difficult are difficult. Although I did not try it, I have seen teenagers who were stuck on one of the rope courses and did not know how to proceed.
Adventure Park for Younger Children
Younger children may be too small to participate in most of the courses or may not be able to master them. As an alternative, they can participate in the Butterfly Walk.
The Butterfly Walk is available for younger children and those who don’t want to use a harness. This is a great course for both kids and parents who are already present in the Adventure Park but do not want to go higher or participate in more difficult challenges.
In Butterfly Walk, parents supporting their children do not need to pay.
Staying and Dining at Adventure Park Interlaken
Here you can easily spend two hours or more. During our visit, we stayed for about five hours, though some families might stay for less time. When it comes to this, there is no time limit.
This is a positive aspect since some rope parks in Switzerland have hourly rates.
The adventure park does not have a restaurant, so you will need to bring your food. On-site picnic tables are available for those who have brought their food. Grilling is also available on the premises.

Coming By Public Transportation
Adventure Park is only a short walk from Interlaken West train station. When you are on your way to Adventure Park, there will be helpful signs stating “Seilpark”. Follow the signs and you will soon arrive at the Adventure Park.
