If you like dinosaurs, you’ll love the quiet prehistoric park in the Jura region of Switzerland. The park is in a tiny village called Réclère near the French border. Although you can’t touch or interact with the dinosaurs, you can still see them, and be amazed at their size.

The Prehistoric Park is home to dinosaurs such as Protoceratops, Deinonychus, Stegosaurus, Plateosaurus, Plesiosaurus, Ichthyosaurus, Elasmosaurus, and Mososaurus.
In contrast to other natural history museums in Switzerland that have real dinosaur fossils, like the Dinosaur Museum at Aathal, the Prehistoric Park has replicas instead of fossils.
The animals at the Prehistoric Park aren’t just limited to dinosaurs. We’ll see other prehistoric animals that look like modern-day animals like the bear, the deer, the lynx, and the ostrich.
Walking around Le Préhisto-Parc de Réclère
There’s only one path, but it’s wide and perfect for kids. It’s a 2-kilometer walk that’s accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs. There is no guide necessary.
You’ll find a toilet halfway through. Dogs are allowed, but they’re supposed to be on a leash.
